These cases typically involve both obsessions and compulsions of which may be cause by, or can lead to, extreme anxiety. These cases typically coincide with the onset of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (i.e. a brain and behavior disorder). These cases primarily occur in experients of Clairvoyance, but may also occur in experients of Telepathy and Empathy. In these cases, the focus of obsession is typically on the safety of the individual and others. In other words, the individual wants to keep themselves and others safe, and therefore, the individual engages in compulsive extrasensory checking and monitoring.
While these experiences are fairly comparable to Extrasensory Conflict and Withdrawal, these experience can occur in a manner where heightened anxiety levels do not rendered extrasensory information incomprehensible. Rather, the presentation of Extrasensory Dependence involves: excessive, but comprehensible extrasensory information that may occur continuously, is exhausting, and is due to heightened anxiety, obsession, and compulsion.
