Overview of Paraphysics - Course #1

Psi is an all encompassing term for extrasensory perception and psychokinesis combined. The term "Psi-Gamma" is typically used to refer to ESP, and "Psi-Kappa" is the term typically used for PK. (More info)

Psi Modeling or models in regards to psi are separated into two main categories:

1. The basic physical mechanism or psi mediation.
2. The psychological aspects of how and when human beings are able to utilize psi or the experiential phase of psi. 

There have been many types of models constructed throughout the history of parapsychology including theoretical and hypothetical models. As to the role of psi, it is best to view psi as an ability, or feature, in which is bound to an individual human being as a function of his or her personality in the broadest sense of that term.

Introduction to Quantum Mechanics

Quantum mechanics (QM) is briefly defined as a body of scientific principles describing the behavior of matter and its interactions on both the atomic and subatomic scales. QM’s development, a revolution in physical theory, is the result of physicist coming to terms with the limitations of classical physics. The principles of QM are difficult for the human mind to comprehend. This is mainly in part by the fact that humans are accustomed to reasoning in regards to the world on a scale where classical physics is an exceptional approximation.

QM is counterintuitive, and in the words of Richard P. Feynman, a founder of quantum electrodynamics (QED), “I hope you can accept Nature as She is – absurd.” Many fundamental components of the universe exhibit wave-particle duality where their behavior is in some ways particle-like and in other ways wave-like, such as photons (discrete packages of light). In regards to electromagnetic radiation, the laws of QM predict such energies, colors, and spectral intensities.

Overview of Autokinesis - Course #3

Autokinesis is the psychical influence of energy including kinetic, potential, thermal, gravitational, sound, light, elastic, and electromagnetic energy; particularly energy absorption. Absorption performance is typically identifiable by experients of autokinetic phenomena prior to emission performance. The psychical influence of energy has been prominent in alternative healing practices in many cultures throughout history. Experients of autokinetic phenomena exhibit innate skillfulness in healing, as well as the absorption of, illness and injury. Experients are also characteristic of absorbing bioelectrical and biophotonic energy and in regards to popular culture; autokinetic phenomena is commonly comparable to “psychic vampirism.”

Autokinesis – The Physics

Kinetic Feature: The kinetic energy of an object is the energy of which it possesses due to its motion. It is briefly defined, as the work required accelerating a body of a given mass from rest to its stated velocity (the measurement of the rate and direction of change in the position of an object). Once an object has gained this energy during its acceleration, the object will maintain this kinetic energy until its speed changes. The same amount of work is done by the object in decelerating from its current speed to a state of rest. For example, the experient can put an object into motion, or affect the speed of an object in motion towards or away from the experient by increasing or decreasing its speed.

Potential Feature: Potential energy is the energy stored in an object due to its position in a force field or due its configuration. Potential energy exists when a force acts upon an object that is inclined to restore it to a lower energy configuration (i.e. restoring force). For example, if an experient lifts an object, the force of gravity will act to bring it back down, back to its original position. In this case, experients can increase or decrease the speed of the object traveling downwards.

Levitational Feature: Experients also appear to reverse the effect, resulting in a levitational feature. Levitation in this case involves the psychical influence of suspending an object against the force of gravity in a stable position void of solid, physical contact. Experients typically report (1) levitating small objects, (2) making themselves (the experient) “lighter,” whereby reducing gravitational energy, and (3) levitating his or her own body during deep meditation or during sleep. Thermal Feature: Experients also report the influence of thermal energy (the total energy in an object that results in the objects temperature). For example, experients report the ability to psychically propel charged particles to high speeds, or decelerate charged particles to low speeds, typically electrons because of their light weight. These temperature changes can result in object phase changes via the physical processes of heating (e.g. melting/fusion or boiling, or result in smoldering or flaming combustion), or cooling (e.g. condensation or result in solidification via freezing). Photic Feature: Lastly, these experients report the psychical influence of visible light (i.e. the portion of electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the human eye such as white light and color), and invisible light (the portion of electromagnetic radiation that is not visible to the human eye including the ultraviolet and the infrared range). For example, experients report the ability to influence the electromagnetic spectrum including visible light and part of the near-infrared range. In addition, they report the ability to create (via photoelectric effect) and modify remote photic (light) sources and the influence of the human body’s natural ultra-weak biophoton emissions, which can be utilized in light-based therapeutic (healing) techniques. Influence in regard to electromagnetism and electromagnetic fields have also been reported involving the affected behavior and motion of electrically charged particles (objects) vicinal to electromagnetic fields under experient influence.
