EXCERPT: "[ ... ] as the psychical influence of an objective environment I call the universal information, or Nature, which I assume is capable of storing, retaining, and recalling information pertaining to the past states of objects, and events. I assume this is achievable through the act of an experient requesting and receiving information pertaining to past events via Natures long-term memory or long-term information storage. I assume that Nature captures, retains, and stores this information and that this information can be requested by an experient of which the information is then conveyed intuitively and/or in the form of sensory hallucinations; primarily through the visual and auditory modalities. These hallucinations can also occur in other sensory modalities including olfaction, gustatory, and somatosensory. Psychometry is assumed a form of retrocognition, and is defined as the psychical ability “to make relevant associations from an object of unknown history by making physical contact with that object.” For example, experients of psychometry can touch a book, or quickly flip through the pages of a book at incredible speed and retrocognitively receive the summation of the book, either directly from the book, or indirectly through Nature. In addition, psychics have reported the ability to “absorb” information from a book placed under their head while asleep. In addition, psychometry has been defined as the psychical ability to “obtain information about an individual through paranormal means by making physical contact with an object that belongs to them.” Alternative names for psychometry include [ ... ]"
