Book Description

In this paper, Theresa M. Kelly, MsD., addresses Lumokinesis: the psychical influence of the electromagnetic spectrum including visible light and part of the near-infrared range. In addition, she addresses popular misconceptions in regards to optical and cognitive illusions that result in purely subjective perceptions (e.g. brightness, movement, or color alternation of a photic source), the speed of light, gravitational effects, and the propagation of light.

She addresses limitations of lumokinetic influence including spontaneous emission verses ionized atoms and I touch on a commonly reported symptomatic involving biophoton emission during injury. In addition, she addresses practical scientific career applications (e.g. scientific, technological, medical, alternative medical, and artistic). In regards to lumokinetic phenomena, she addresses experimental and alternative medical applications including wavelength alteration, biophoton emissions and fields, Biophotonic Therapy (e.g. Infrared Light Therapy, Visible Light Therapy, Biophotonic Neural Silencing, and Photonic Acupuncture) and compares constructive verses deconstructive interference and photon release verses electron excitation experimentation.

The paper includes an overview of the fundamental physics assumed involved in lumokinetic influence and twelve types of light/color charts and measurement sheets for scientific experimentation.

Theresa M. Kelly, MsD, is a professor of scientific parapsychology, and has conducted psychical research for many years focusing on the phenomenology of psychic experiences, and the personality traits of psychic experients.

EXCERPT: "Experients of lumokinetic phenomena with control over the amplification of their natural biophoton fields are candidates for biophotonic healing therapies. These therapies consist of exposure to specific wavelengths of light produced by the experient and applied to a client, or influenced in a client via experient influence. The light emitted is administered for a prescribed amount of time daily, weekly or monthly. Such therapies can be utilized to treat many physical and psychological conditions. For instance, light in the range of 450-420 nanometers activates a porphyrin [coproporphyrin III] in propionibacterium acnes, which damages and ultimately destroys the bacteria resulting in the acne. In addition, the production of the hormone serotonin [linked to mood disorders] is affected by light along with cell proliferation, [ ... ]"

EXCERPT: "The process by which these light sources are generated by experients of lumokinetic phenomena (involving an atom in an excited state undergoing transition to the ground state, whereby emitting a photon) is called spontaneous emission. Spontaneous emission of light is a fundamental process that plays an essential role in lumokinetic phenomena.  This process happens when a light source (atom) is in the excited state with energy roughly twice as much as that of the atom in the ground state. When these atoms in an excited state collide with other atoms in an excited state due to experient-generated remote magnetic fields, the atoms release the difference of energy between the excited and ground state as a photon (a particle of light). The phase of emitted photons in spontaneous emission are random along with their polarization (direction of propagation or travel). "
