Book Description

In this paper, Theresa M. Kelly, MsD., addresses Atmokinesis: the psychical influence of meteorological phenomena including the states of the atmosphere as measured by temperature, humidity, clarity, and activity scales. In addition, she addresses popular misconceptions in regards to defying estimations of the expected value of variables, seasonal differences, prevailing winds or fronts, and mechanical and dynamical effects of which can lead to extreme weather condition.

She addresses limitations of psychokinetic influence including the time between experient influence and excited weather outcomes, storm size limitations, chaotic systems and prediction limitations, and wind vs. flow. She touches on commonly reported symptomatic effects in regards to experients of atmokinesis including spontaneous heating and cooling, effects of humidity on electronics, electrical sparking and tingling, excitation of natural disasters, and spontaneous lightening production.

Theresa M. Kelly, MsD, is a professor of scientific parapsychology, and has conducted psychical research for many years focusing on the phenomenology of psychic experiences, and the personality traits of psychic experients.

EXCERPT: "Experient influence appears to be limited to exciting already predicted weather conditions. Because of this, certain weather conditions cannot occur due to an abundance of or lack of humidity due to current weather conditions or climate. Humidity is the amount of water vapor in the air and is the gas phase of water. Under typical atmospheric conditions, water vapor is continuously generated by evaporation and removed by condensation. As it is lighter than air, it triggers convection currents that can lead to cloud formation. [ ... ] One limitation that should be mentioned here is the limitation the experient has pertaining to predicting the outcome of their influences. The atmosphere is a chaotic system and even the slightest of influences to one part of a weather system can excite to result in larger effects on the system as a whole than initially expected. This makes weather influencing difficult to predict accurately, especially in regards to experients influencing day-by-day [within 24 hours, but more than hour-by-hour] weather conditions even with all known values and variable considered. Chaos theory states that the slightest variation in the motion of the ground can grow with time. This idea is often referred to as the butterfly effect suggesting that [ ... ]"
