QP provides services with no intention of earning any substantial revenue. Anyone who wants to support your QP community can do so by donating any amount at any time. Every little bit helps. Donations and advertising earnings go to pay for QP’s hosting, software, web developers etc which make QP possible. Keeping our community active and funding new QP community projects is made possible by You. All donations go to keep the community active and to fund current and future QP site projects. Those who maintain QP are all volunteers so all earnings/donations go right back into your QP community. Donations go to pay for:

• Domain - Funding is required to keep the domain qpsychics.com.
• Hosting - QP uses a great deal of database space and CPU usage due to its forums, chats and the MetaWiki. Because of this the cost to keep QP active is higher then most community sites.
• Software - While much of QP is based off free software programs some of it is not. Also, even free programs do occasionally require professional support which is costly.
• Projects - When new software for new projects is required we require professional web developers to install and customize this software. Also, with new projects comes the requirement of new graphics and design from professional graphic designers.

Donations are currently needed for:

• Increasing Site Database Size - Required Donation Totals - $60.00 per year.

MetaWiki Donations

MetaWiki is an ongoing, English based, web-based, free metaphysical content encyclopedia project. MetaWiki is written and maintained collaboratively by volunteers from all over, but the hosting costs to support the size of the wiki is costly. All donations made to the MetaWiki go directly to keeping the wiki possible. Donations go to pay for:

• Hosting - MetaWiki uses a great deal of hosting space and CPU usage and because of this the cost to keep MetaWiki active is quite high.

From now on all donators will have the option to have their name and amount donated to QP listed below.

Research Donations

You can also donate to fund psychical research to be conducted by QP volunteers. Funds are used to purchase necessary research/lab equipment required to enable our scientific investigation of psychic/kinetic abilities. In the past, volunteers have conducted research separately and have never publicly released their findings save the ebook Quantum Psychics which focuses more on metaphysical findings rather than scientific. All collaborative research conducted by QP volunteers will be publicly published in blog form on the QP website. Information will include case files (allowing anonymity of subjects) and techniques/instruments used in the research process.

With past research separately conducted by volunteers - locating qualifying applicants for research was never an issue, rather the issue was acquiring funding to purchase quality instruments and devices to properly test subjects.

Volunteer Hours and Donations - as of August 2009

Since the beginning of its development, November 2007, QP volunteers have devoted over 3,900 hours of their spare time to make QP what you see today. That’s over $51,120 worth of services including web development, graphic design, php software customization, content creation, editing, statistical monitoring, advertising and search engine optimization. Volunteers have also donated $2,043 worth of software to make QP possible.
