Why Do My Hands Emit Green Light When I Do Energy Work?

If the green light or “glow” is visible only to you during energy work, then hypothetically speaking, you may have influenced your own photoreceptors to perceive light to faint to see otherwise visibly.
A photoreceptor is a specialized type of neuron [nerve cell] located in the eye’s retina that is capable of phototransduction [the conversion of light into electrical signals].
However, if the green light or “glow” is visible to you and others during energy work, then hypothetically speaking, what you are seeing is an increase in your biophotonic field.
Increases in the biophotonic field [the ultra-weak bioluminescence emitted by a human being, normally to faint to see with the human eye] are most common in the hands.
In either case, green light is the most commonly reported wavelength of light because green light emission is the result of oxygen, which is abundant in all biological systems.
