CHANGES TO YOUR ENVIRONMENT<\/h2>\n

The second list includes changes to your environment that may make you prone to having psychic experiences, or maybe a change that happened RIGHT<\/strong> before you started to notice your psychic experiences:<\/p>\n

  1. \"\"<\/a>You started being treated poorly, abused<\/strong>, or attacked, experienced neglect like being left alone all the time or not getting enough love, attention, or food, or started experiencing great adversity like suddenly living in poverty.<\/li>\n
  2. You experienced a separation such as a divorce, loss of a child, loss of a parent, loss of a loved one or dear friend or started experiencing social rejection from all of your friends.<\/li>\n
  3. You experienced the death of an immediate family member, or supportive, or parental figure.<\/li>\n
  4. \"\"<\/a>You became aware of a perceived threat on your life<\/strong>, or saw, experienced, or caused very bad and upsetting things like a police officer killing someone in the line of duty, a solder eliminating the enemy, seeing a mass execution, being tortured, or a child seeing extreme violence at home, or gang violence.<\/li>\n
  5. You lost your job, had a major change in jobs, suffered a personal injury or illness that affected your ability to work and take care of yourself, or someone like a husband, wife, or parent became injured or ill and you suddenly had the responsibility to care for them.<\/li>\n
  6. \"\"<\/a>You experienced a sudden change in your financial state like dropping from a middle-class income to a lower-class income, poverty, or homelessness.<\/li>\n
  7. You experienced a loss of basic needs like shelter, food, or medical care.<\/li>\n
  8. You or a partner became pregnant or gave birth without proper medical care or support, or you or your child were put into foster care or adopted.<\/li>\n
  9. You experienced a sudden change in the way your friends or co-workers accept you.<\/li>\n
  10. You started to abuse alcohol or use drugs <\/strong>(especially psychedelic drugs) to help deal with stress.<\/li>\n
  11. \"\"<\/a>You started activities that promote an altered state of consciousness or awareness to help deal with stress like meditation, hypnosis, qigong, reiki, or yoga.<\/li>\n
  12. You started occult practices during a highly stressful time in your life.<\/li>\n
  13. You have a family history of mental or physical illness that caught up with you.<\/li>\n
  14. You experienced a big change in sleep patterns like not being able to fall asleep, waking up still tired and not feeling refreshed, getting less sleep in general, waking up a lot at night for no known reason or due to nightmares or night terrors.<\/li>\n
  15. You started experiencing other traumatic experiences like extreme medical or surgical procedures, war, slavery, or terrorism.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
