<\/a>, involves a lot more physical stuff going on.<\/p>\nWith this form, the entity or spirit may take control of the medium’s physical body and their speech\/voice This happens in two different ways, either by automatism or by xenoglossy.<\/p>\n
The medium may or may not have conscious awareness or control over their own speech and physical activity, which results in a feeling of detachment from their body or surroundings (a mental detachment, not an actual out-of-body experience).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In this case, the spirit is speaking the accent and\/or langue they spoke when they were alive. Another example could be drawing a beautiful image<\/u><\/em>, where the spirit was an artist in life, but the medium has little to no drawing skills.<\/p>\n These skills are only present though while the spirit is n control of the medium. This means that once the spirit is gone, the medium no longer has these skills.<\/p>\n For those who have no memory of events after automatism experiences, they may be capable of using xenoglossy with a little extra training. \u00a0That training focuses more on \u201csurrendering\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cletting go.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/a>Automatism<\/strong> incudes when the entity\/spirit takes control over the medium\u2019s speech (automatic speaking), motor skills, automatic writing, automatic drawing, or the use of a Ouija board.<\/p>\n<\/a>In this case, the medium may feel like their own consciousness has \u201ctaken a back seat\u201d<\/strong> or has been set aside to allow the spirit entry and access to their physical functions. However, the medium should feel the ability to end the experience at any time.<\/u><\/p>\n<\/a>Xenoglossy<\/strong> is similar, but a little different. With xenoglossy, the entity\/spirit will impress their own personality and skills onto the medium that are often personality traits and skills not possessed by the medium themselves. This can include things like speaking with an accent or speaking another language fluently that the medium does not know at all.<\/p>\n<\/a>During these experiences, the medium usually remembers nothing about what was said or done during the experience. So unlike automatism, where mediums may remember some or all details of the experience, with xenoglossy, they REMEMBER NOTHING<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
