SECOND LIST OF PROTECTIONS<\/h2>\n

The following are general protective factors that have more to do with your environment or surrounding conditions<\/u>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. \"happyfamily\"<\/a>You had a happy and healthy childhood<\/strong>. You were loved, had everything that you needed, and grew up well adjusted. You have no history of physical<\/u>, mental, or emotional abuse<\/u> or neglect<\/u>.<\/li>\n
  2. Your parents were happily married<\/strong> and never separated. You had a lot of support from family members and friends<\/u> growing up, and still do, and were and still are sociable<\/u>.<\/li>\n
  3. You felt safe and secure growing up, and still do,<\/strong> and have no history of <\/u>traumatic experiences<\/u> like extreme medical or surgical procedures, war, gang violence, slavery, or terrorism.<\/li>\n
  4. You did well in school<\/u> and have a successful long-term career<\/u>. You had and still have a stable or steady increase in your financial state<\/u> and social status, and your basic needs have been and continue to be met<\/strong> (examples: shelter, food, medical care, transportation, etc.).<\/li>\n
  5. \"friends\"<\/a><\/strong>You have no history of severe injury or illness<\/strong> and no history of injury or illness of a loved one in your care<\/u>.<\/li>\n
  6. Your friends care about you and accept you<\/strong> for who you are and you either do not have any children, or you have children and can cope well with the stress of raising children<\/u>.<\/li>\n
  7. You can successfully deal with stress in general<\/strong> without the use of alcohol or illegal drugs<\/u>.<\/li>\n
  8. You are regularly involved in activities<\/strong> that result in an altered state of consciousness like meditation, <\/u>self-hypnosis<\/u>, qigong, reiki, yoga, and so on.<\/u><\/li>\n
  9. You have never been, were able to cope well with, or stopped occult practices or rituals<\/u> when they became stressful or negative.<\/li>\n
  10. You have no family history of mental or physical health issues<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  11. You have normal and healthy sleep patterns<\/strong>. You have no problems falling asleep<\/u> or waking up, falling asleep and waking up at the same time every day\/night, sleeping through the night, feeling well-rested upon waking<\/u>, and mainly have positive dreams<\/u>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
