Does QP allow link exchanges?
At this time QP does not allow link exchanges. QP relies on current search engine positioning, return visitors and word-of-mouth for traffic to our website. There are currently no exceptions to this.

I can't seem to stay logged in or use the automatic login option and my browser is Firefox.
You may be behind a proxy server, which can cause this issue. This will cause the IP to change mid session. Every time this happens the session will be dropped as sessions are bound to the IP. There is nothing QP can do to resolve this issue because it is a browser issue not a forum issue.

Can comments can be made to blogs?
Yes.

Can users rate blogs?
Yes.

Can I set blog user permissions?
Users can set permissions for other users on a global or per blog basis, letting them decide if they want the users to not see the blog, be able to see and read the blog, or be able to see, view, and reply to the blog. Users can set options for 4 "groups", Guests, Friends, Foes, and everyone else (Administrators and Moderators are not affected by user set permissions, and any permissions set by administrators in the ACP override any settings set by users).

Can I subscribe to a blog?
Users can subscribe to receive updates via PM or Email when a new reply is posted to a blog or a new blog is posted by a user.

Feeds?
Blogs do have RSS/ATOM/Javascript output feeds.

Can I search blog content?
Users can search for text within blogs and blog replies (it is separate from the phpBB3 search system however).

Chat

How do I know who or how many are chatting without logging in to chat?
Towards the top of every forum page you will see “In Chat” followed by a number. This is the number of how many members are currently chatting. On the Board Index, the main forum page, towards the bottom of the page you will see “Registered Users” followed by a list of members. Members with a * after their names are currently in chat.


Error 12029 = "A connection with the Server could Not Be Established".
This error might be cause by one of the following reasons:
• Your internet connection is not stable
• Our server load is too high at the moment

QP is hosted on a server with many other websites. When the server load is high, when many people are surfing these sites at the same time, the chat will experience occasional errors because it can not sustain a stable connection with the server. This is a server issue which is common for any site with a chat that does not have a private server. This error is non-rectifiable at this time because QP does not have the funding to pay the large fees associated with having its own server and server support. If you received an Error 12029, please try to reconnect to the chat. If this does not work, please wait a few minutes and try again.

If you believe your internet connection is not stable, try disconnecting from the internet, wait a few seconds and reconnect. For XP - Start Menu / Control Panel / Network and Internet Connections / Network Connections / right click on your connection and click repair or disable. If you clicked disable, click enable a few seconds later with the same method.
