Symptoms & Side Effects

For discussions regarding Autokinesis.

Autokinesis is the psychical influence of energy including kinetic, potential, thermal, gravitational, sound, light, electrical, and electromagnetic radiation, etc. Experients of autokinesis can increase, decrease, and convert different types of energies.

Symptoms & Side Effects

Postby Admin on Sun Apr 05, 2009 2:12 pm

There are many common side effects associated with abilities. Side effects of abilities are negative mental and physical ailments, illnesses believed to be caused by an ability and generally produce themselves as annoying, unsettling or even dangerous. If you are familiar with a common side effect of this ability please share in this topic by posting. Keep in mind, the more descriptive and well written your information is, the more people will be willing to trust your expertise. Short or incoherent information may be deleted.

What are Side Effects?
Side effects are the result of an out-of-control ability. For help gaining or regaining control of your ability we suggest you visit this forum: viewforum.php?f=400

These side effects, factors and preventive measures listed below work with any ability that working in the direct manipulation of energy or electricity.

Effects

Static Discharge/Shock - The spark associated with static electricity is caused by electrostatic discharge, or simply static discharge, as excess charge is neutralized by a flow of charges from or to the surroundings. The feeling of a static electric shock is caused by the stimulation of nerves as the neutralizing current flows through the human body. Due to the ubiquitous presence of water in places inhabited by people, the accumulated charge is generally not enough to cause a dangerously high current. Despite the apparently innocuous nature of static electricity as we generally experience it, there can be significant risks associated with it in circumstances where large charges may accumulate in the presence of sensitive materials or devices. - Wikipedia.org

If you are a energy worker, telekinetic, electrokintic or autokinetic and you believe you are experiencing heightened and frequent static discharges due to your ability being out-of-control then please read on to learn ways you can prevent these shocks while you are attempting to bring your ability back into balance.

Never try to shock anything with any part of your body on purpose. This causes sub-dermal burns and can cause nerve damage over time. Just because one may have the ability to control energy/electricity does not mean their body is super immune to energy health risks. Internal telekinesis, electrokinesis and autokinesis should be avoided at all costs. Because the kinetic can not be sure how much energy or electricity is being stored they can not be sure it is within healthy limits. Over exposure to strong amounts of energy and electricity can make one ill. Prolonged exposure to high amounts of energy and electricity can cause neurological, respiratory and cardiovascular disorders.

Factors

Lack of Humidity in Winter/Fall - If ambient humidity in any location is under 40-50%, one is more prone to static shock, especially those with telekinesis, autokinesis, electrokinesis and other energy based abilities. The ambient humidity drops dramatically during the fall and winter months.

Dry Desert Air - This factor is non-avoidable unless you are willing to move to a different location. Dry desert air will cause an increase in static shock.

Prevention

Insulators to Reduce Shock - One should not wear metal rings in the winter or fall seasons.

Static Producing Furniture - One should avoid buying furry or velvety type couches and chairs made of synthetic materials or fur if static charges are a problem.

Sensitive Electronic Damage - One experiencing abnormal, regular, static shock should be very careful when touching sensitive electronic directly. If a shock occurs, this could potentially damage the electronic.

To Much Static in the Home - If static charge is high and bothersome in the home one should use several humidifies bringing the ambient humidity percentage to at least 40%.

Hand/Finger Shocks - If one is pron to shocking their hands frequently they should try applying lotion after every hand wash and any time their hands begin to feel dry. You can also try an anti-static lotion used by those in the electronics industry.

Sleeping Issues - If one is having difficulty sleeping the winter or fall and it is not the temperature causing the issue they should check to make sure their beds are not holding a high static charge. Metal framed beds tend to cause this problem the most. Also, sheets and blankets made of synthetic fibers can create and hold a great deal of static charges. Mattress toppers made of synthetic fibers and especially foam toppers will create and hold static charges. If purchasing a new bed, mattress or bedding set is not an option, the solution maybe using a small humidifier in the bedroom.

Static Dissipative Shoes - These shoes' outer sole quickly dissipates static electricity by regulating the build up of electrical charge generated by a persons body, whereby reducing the risk of static shock.

No Rubber Soled Shoes - These shoes have a strong tendency to accumulate charge when rubbed against carpet and certain fabrics working against your attempts to avoid electrical shock.

Avoid Synthetic Clothing - Wearing socks made of synthetic fibers on carpeted areas will cause a build up of charge resulting in static shock. Many synthetic fibers can cause more of a static shock issue then even wool. Stick to 100% cotton socks to avoid these effects. Wearing clothing made of synthetic fibers can also cause similar issues. Synthetic fur and also clothing made out of velvet will cause a good deal of issues in this area. Also avoid furry, velvety or wool type clothing in the winter if excessive skin dryness is an issue. This maybe caused by excessive amounts of static electricity micro-dermally burning the skin.

Avoid Some Natural Furs & Fibers - Non-synthetic materials such as animal fur, specially wool, and silk will increase the strength and frequency of static shock. Even leather can pose a problem.

Use Dryer Sheets - One can reduce the chance of static shock by reducing the static build up on their laundry. The friction caused by tumbling clothes in a dryer causes an exchange of charged particles on the surface of the materials, especially synthetic ones. Some particles are positively charged, other negatively charged. Dryer sheets are coated with a conductive substance. This results in no static buildup to be later passed on to you.

Anti-Static Sprays - Anti-static solutions for high friction surfaces can be used on chairs, carpets, clothing and work surfaces with heavy use. These types of sprays eliminate static electrical discharge.
