Well i sometimes pick up on another persons thoughts but how to differentiate their thoughts from my own and maybe a tech for doing it at will because its at random right now and i want to control it

To separate the thoughts from your own, the best thing to do is to evaluate the situation. How random was the thought or emotion? Does it fit your situation at the moment? Could it instead fit the situation of someone around you? Is there anything you can do to help that person? Really just knowing yourself well and being aware of your surroundings is the key I think. I know from experience, this happens to me all the time.
