Yes, but also because of what you do on an hourly, daily, and weekly basis. The more you have, or do to experience, the following, the more you are going to lean towards Type Black psychic experiences, and the more you are going to build psychic skills.

For now, just make a mental note of how often (all day, once an hour, once a day, once a week) you do these things because how you direct your mental and physical attention has a direct effect on how you direct your “psychic” attention.

We’ll get into detail about how to increase the number of times you are in line with these actions, or lack of actions, later on when we look at ways to enhance your psychic experiences. But for now, here are some examples:

“Did you experience severe emotional distress at a young age?” or “Someone very close to you passed away at a young age” are examples of experiences you no longer have control over, you either did, or you did not. They are experiences that were in your past that made you who you are today no matter what you do today.

However, being in a profession later on in life where you regularly care for the dying, like hospice or nursing home care, may enhance your ability to communicate with the deceased.

However, “How often do you feel that you have a strong connection with children and animals?” would be a matter of how often you seek the company of children or animals on a daily weekly, or monthly basis. If you have children of your own, pets of your own, or care for the children or animals of others, this would be a trait you exercise regularly.

Another example is “How often do you let others direct your life and put other’s needs before your own?” If you are in a career that involves the caretaking of others, these are things you likely do on a regular basis.
